Shoopy is a local-first shopping list app for people who just want a fast, uncluttered way to plan a grocery run. Every list groups its items by aisle category — Produce, Dairy, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Frozen, Pantry, Beverages, Household, Personal Care — so the list reads in the order you'll actually walk the store. Checked items collapse into a tidy "Checked" section instead of cluttering the top of the list, and an optional budget-tracking mode adds per-item prices with a running list total. Favorites let you save items you buy every week as one-tap quick-add chips right inside the add-item sheet, and a lightweight, fully deterministic (non-AI) frequency-based suggestion engine surfaces names you've typed before as you type a new one. Everything is stored locally in a Hive database on-device — no account, no server, no syncing your grocery list to anyone's cloud. Three built-in themes (Light, Dark, and the community-favourite Ayu Mirage) cover both phones and wider tablet/desktop layouts via an adaptive navigation rail.
